Join our Sewing Craft Series and create fun, functional projects including a tote bag, fabric wallet, scrunchies, zipper pouch, infinity scarf, and a special surprise project! Fabric is included in the cost of the class, you are also welcome to bring your own (cotton and polycotton work best). Bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours (limited machines available). Perfect for beginners and those looking to build their sewing skills.

Perfect for those who have never sewn before, or those who need to brush up! Learn all the ins and outs of how to set up a sewing machine and how it works. This class also covers sewing foundations: how to measure, mark, pin, and cut fabric to make your very own over the shoulder bag. The instructor will be available for 30 minutes prior to each class to assist students who may have missed a previous class, or to help pick out your fabric. Bring your own sewing machine or make arrangements to use one of our sewing machines (limited supply).

- Trinket Treasure Boxes

The boxes will be constructed from copper using pancake dies. The metal can then be embellished by using either cold connections or by soldering cabochons prior to bending to shape. Students can choose from triangular or hexagonal box shapes.

 Join us for a two session workshop to create a garden gnome. During the first session, participants will learn clay hand building basics while creating a unique garden gnome. During the second session, participants will learn to glaze their creations. Each participants can expect to take home one garden gnome, no larger than 16 inches tall. This is a beginner-friendly course and no experience is necessary.
This workshop counts towards the Handbuilding prerequisite for Open Studio. Two workshops and a glaze class add-on fulfill all Handbuilding requirements.
