Unlock the language of the blues in this engaging improvisation class designed for musicians of all skill levels. Students will explore the foundations of blues form, rhythm, phrasing, scales, and expressive techniques while learning how to create confident, authentic solos. Through guided exercises, listening activities, and group playing, participants will develop their ear, build improvisational vocabulary, and strengthen musical communication. Emphasis is placed on creativity, confidence, and having fun while playing with others. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of blues improvisation and the skills to perform expressive solos in a variety of musical settings.
