    The 40-hour EMS Instructor course provides new EMS educators with the tools, ideas, and information necessary to educate students. Participants will learn how to write objectives, prepare the lesson plan, and deliver education in engaging ways to maximize student learning following DOT/NHTSA 2002 National Guidelines for Educating EMS Instructors and the National Education Standards.
    The hybrid course is designed to effectively engage participants over Zoom. On July 12th participants will attend class in person where participants will present to fellow classmates and take a cognitive exam. (A score of 80% or higher is required to obtain a certificate of completion.)
    Prerequisite: Current Nevada EMS license with a minimum of one year experience as an EMS provider, and at least two recommendations supporting the participant in gaining instructor certification.

    July 9-12 will be via Zoom. July 12 will be in person 8am-4pm in Elko.

  • Pharmacy Technician with Voucher
  • ONLINE PROGRAM

    In this course, you'll gain the skills and knowledge to qualify for entry-level positions in pharmacies and be prepared for national certification. Upon completion of this course, you will be prepared to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). This course also includes a voucher which covers the fee of the exam. Pharmacy technician certification is an important issue for many industry employers and state legislatures, some of which now require national certification. You will also have the opportunity to apply for a 100+ hour externship.
