This full-day, immersive workshop is designed for anglers who want a comprehensive introduction—or refresher—in trout fly fishing on moving water. Set on the scenic Naches River and its tributaries, this course covers all the major techniques used to catch wild Rainbow and Cutthroat trout.

Throughout the day, you'll rotate through four proven fly fishing methods:
- Dry Fly Fishing – master surface presentations for visual takes
- Nymphing – explore sub-surface strategies for consistent hookups
- Streamer Techniques – trigger aggressive strikes with motion and depth
- Emerger Patterns – fish the transitional life stage between nymph and adult

Pink Salmon Fly Fishing: Puget Sound & River Tactics
Hook into the excitement of a Pink Salmon year! When these energetic fish return in abundance every other year, local anglers enjoy one of the most accessible and action-packed fisheries in the Pacific Northwest. This two-part course prepares you to confidently target Pink Salmon from both Puget Sound beaches and nearby rivers.

What You’ll Learn
In the classroom session, you'll gain insights into:
- The best fly fishing tackle and gear for pinks in saltwater and freshwater
- Fly selection and rigging techniques for different conditions
- Run timing, prime locations, and effective strategies
- Key differences between fishing beaches vs. rivers
Then, take your skills to the water in a guided outing where you'll receive hands-on instruction while fishing during peak salmon movement.
