Few things are timelier in society than emerging Large Language Models (LLM). The most common example of an LLM is Open AI's Chat GPT. Modern LLMs can function as your personal unpaid intern if it's capabilities are leveraged effectively. This course begins with the foundational elements of LLMs including a brief history and an introduction to concepts. This primary section of the course is designed to showcase Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities in areas LLMs are most effective in such as writing, data analytics, PDFs, artist renderings, PowerPoints, and even writing multiple choice questions for exams you may want to give your family and friends. You will learn best practices and subsequently apply those best practices situationally in case studies during the tenure of this engaging session. Finally, we will investigate best practices and assess the ethical and moral questions surrounding LLM and AI usage in society and our lives.
