Introduction to Human Resources (HR)   

In this introductory course discover how HR functions within an organization, and learn about the specific role of the HR Generalist. Identify the typical duties HR Generalists are responsible for and how they can have a positive influence on an organization. You will also evaluate common scenarios HR professionals deal with and define the characteristics of successful HR Generalists. This class is offered in partnership with Green River College.

This is the first course in the HR Generalist Certificate Program (8 Class Series).

    Required: Ability to use Zoom (free video conferencing software) on a PC, tablet, or phone. If you are new to Zoom, please visit our Learning Online page for instructions and helpful links. As a reminder, online courses require an internet connection and the ability to interact both through audio and video using either a web camera and microphone, speakers and a headset, or via a mobile phone connection.
