Candidates will learn to set goals for their instruction based on the principles of learning and the learners’ prior knowledge, culture, interests, and learning needs. The lesson components will be aligned to state standard. Instructional strategies and discipline-specific methods will be selected to align with student needs and content. Assessments will be used to gage student knowledge and skills and will align with the objectives and instructional methodologies.
