What is the Rocky Mountain Education Center and how is it connected with Red Rocks Community College?
The Rocky Mountain Education Center was established in 1992 and serves as the Continuing Education program within the Workforce Services department at RRCC. RMEC offers opportunities for lifelong learning through non-credit courses, short-term programs, workshops, certifications, and personal enrichment activities. It’s designed for individuals looking to advance their careers, acquire new skills, or explore new interests.
How do I enroll in a continuing education course?
You can enroll in a course through our online registration system: https://www.campusce.net/redrocks. Click "Course Catalog" to see our offering of courses and if the course you are interested in is available, then add it to the cart, proceed to check out, and you'll receive a confirmation email.
What are the costs for continuing education courses?

Can I request a custom-designed training for my company's specific needs?

How does on-site training work?
All the courses listed in this brochure, along with many other safety and health courses, can be customized and taught at your location. For a minimum of 12 participants, we can provide your company with the same training offered at the Rocky Mountain Education Center. You can request a proposal on our website or by calling our office at 900-933-8394.

Course Details
How do I find a course that’s right for me?
Browse our course catalog on the website or use the search function to filter courses by subject, date, and format. You can also contact our department for personalized assistance at rmec@rrcc.edu
What formats are available for continuing education courses?
We offer courses in various formats, including in-person, online, and hybrid. Course details and formats are listed on the individual course pages.
Can I receive a certificate or CEUs for completing a course?
Certificates are issued at the end of each course for students meeting the attendance requirements and passing the final exam. Copies of certificate are not kept on file by the RMEC and clients needing a replacement certificate will be charged a $25 fee for each certificate to be regenerated. All of our courses offer certificates of completion or Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Check the course description or contact our office for specifics.
How do I request a transcript or proof of completion?
Certificates will be available in your account after completion of the course and available on the RMEC website. If you need a different version or additional information to be added to this certificate, please let us know.
How does course rollover or transfer work?
Students can roll over to a different section of a course if they contact the Rocky Mountain Education Center prior to the course start date. Payment will be applied to the new course registration. Students are allowed to roll over only once. If they are unable to attend the course a second time, a refund will be issued, and they will be required to register again for any future course.
What is the refund policy?
You may request a refund by emailing rmec@rrcc.edu within 48 hours of the course start date for a full refund of the cost. Refunds may be considered outside of the stated refund period for extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies or sudden relocation. Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction with course content or teaching style unless the course fails to meet stated learning objectives or promises.
Class Information
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a course?
You can cancel or reschedule by emailing rmec@rrcc.edu or calling our office directly at 303.914.6420. We can transfer you to another section if available. We can also process cancellation or withdrawal. Please call at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund. It also allows us to invite any students on the waitlist to join in your place if needed.
Are there any discounts available for continuing education courses?
We occasionally offer discounts or financial assistance for certain courses. Check our website for current promotions or contact our office for more information.
How do I get in touch with my instructor?
Instructor contact information will be shared through email prior to the first class for online classes and after the first class for in-person classes. If you have trouble reaching them, contact our office for assistance.
Can I provide feedback about a course?
We welcome your feedback! You can provide course feedback through our online survey, by email, or directly to our office.

What should I do if I have trouble accessing a course?
If you experience technical difficulties, contact us for help. Some courses are offered in partnership with other program providers so depending on the issue, our team can support you or provide you with the appropriate resource.
