Travel Tuesday - Los Alamos National Monument    NEW!

Did you see Oppenheimer? Let’s explore Los Alamos from times of Ancient Puebloan settlements, the Ranch School, the Manhattan Project and the US National Laboratory.
Los Alamos, NM is most famous for the Manhattan Project, the secretive purpose of which was to develop the nuclear bomb under the direction of J. Robert Oppenheimer and other military and civilian engineers. This remote land was previously settled by the Ancient Puebloan people, westward advancing homesteaders and a private boarding school, The Ranch School. Today it’s focus remains with scientific research as one of the US National Laboratories. Join me to visit this rare and remote place.
