Interested in Becoming An Instructor?
We encourage the development of new and interesting classes for our mature adult population.
We are currently offering courses in-person and online via Zoom.
OLLI classes are typically held for two to three hours, for just one class meeting or once a week for two, three, four or five weeks in the morning or afternoon. They are offered at Sierra College Rocklin, Roseville Vernon Center, Nevada County, Tahoe/Truckee campuses and Lincoln Public Library at Twelve Bridges.
Classes are offered September through mid-December in the fall, February through May in the spring, and mid-June through July in the summer.
The Sierra College OLLI Curriculum Committee will review your completed Course Proposal Form and notify you by phone or mail if it is approved. Note: Keep in mind that the process for review can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks depending on the date of your submission. Consideration will be given to the appropriateness of the subject, its relevance to the mission of the program, availability of facilities, your qualifications, etc. Our intent is to offer a varied, balanced program that meets the needs and interests of the mature adult population.
Submission deadlines:
- Fall Proposals are due March 15
- Spring Proposals are due August 30

Don't forget to submit your current term's invoice upon completion of the last scheduled class meeting date!

Refer to your Instructor Contract for class details. Please email your saved/completed form to OLLI's Administrative Assistant, Brooklynn Bridges, for processing at bbridges2@sierracollege.edu. If possible, please email your typed, digital, PDF invoice form/saved file to Brooke, as opposed to mailing in a hard copy. Now... let's get you paid!
