Gary Doster has amassed what he believes is the most extensive collection of antique Georgia postcards—many of which are the only images extant of now-demolished buildings. He will share a selection of these postcards along with stories and history of the people and places related to them. His vast knowledge of Georgia history, including that of Confederates, slaves, and Native Americans, will make the past come alive.

Is there any evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and is the divine Son of God? Or is Christian belief just a matter of having faith? This course is not doctrinal and is intended for both religious and non-religious people who have an intellectual curiosity about the basis for Christian beliefs. Using tools historians use in studying ancient history, this course examines the historical evidence in support of the divinity of Jesus. Topics include evidence from non-biblical sources that supports biblical accounts; the reliability of Gospel accounts; the timeline of New Testament sources; authorship of the Gospels; motivations of Gospel authors; evidence of the burial and resurrection of Jesus; and how ancient documents referenced the Messiah.
