Have you always wanted to learn to throw on a pottery wheel? Here is your chance! This introductory class is designed for beginners with little to no experience with clay. The class takes place over 3 consecutive Saturday afternoons. The first Saturday we will learn the basics of wheel throwing, creating bowls and cylinders. The second Saturday we will learn to trim our pieces, create and attach handles to turn our cylinders into mugs, and experiment with different decorative techniques. The third Saturday we will glaze our pieces and learn about cone 10 firing in the kiln. All materials and firings are included.

During the second session, participants will paint their creations. Each participants can expect to take home one garden gnome, no larger than 16 inches tall. Ready for a different type of night out? Join us for wheel throwing date night with a partner or friend. Cost is $75 per person or $150 for a pair. Partners will be instructed in the basics of throwing clay on the potters' wheel, making unique cylinders and bowls, and choose 2 pieces each to glaze and fire that you get to keep. Come prepared to get messy and have a great time! Partners share a wheel.

This workshop focuses on the essential skills every blues player needs: phrasing, bending and vibrato, call-and-response, groove, and building strong, musical solos. Ned will demonstrate clear, usable concepts that help players move beyond memorized licks toward confident, expressive improvisation. Guitarists will leave with tools they can apply immediately—whether on stage, at a jam, or in the practice room.
Ideal for intermediate and advancing players, but open to anyone serious about improving their blues vocabulary and musical instincts. Students must have a guitar and small practice amp.

 Practice the art of lampworking! In this hands-on weekend workshop, students will melt colorful glass rods in a torch flame and shape them around a mandrel to create beautiful handmade glass beads. Workshop will cover essential techniques, explore a variety of bead shapes, and explore creative details using stringers to create dots, lines, pinwheels, feathers, and floral patterns. Safety practices and care for tools and equipment will be discussed. Perfect for all levels from beginners to experienced makers—all are welcome!
