This course will teach the basic skills of indoor rock climbing. You will learn how to top rope belay, body position techniques and how to be safe while climbing. We will learn and continuously practice skills throughout the semester. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcome. Climbing gear (harness, shoes and belay device) are provided by GBC. Wear stretchy comfortable clothing.

Tai Chi is an internal martial art and health exercise which focuses on breathing, physical movement and relaxation. Often called ‘poetry in motion,’ the slow and gentle movements of Tai Chi are excellent for reducing tension and stress and for promoting general health in both body and mind. Tai Chi is non-competitive, self-paced and beginner-friendly. Comfortable clothing and shoes recommended.

Join us for yoga! Relieve stress, create calm, improve flexibility, promote circulation, stimulate digestion, release toxins, enhance breathing, boost energy, balance hormones, practice mindfulness - the list of benefits from yoga is somewhat endless! Practicing with a group and under the guidance of an experienced yoga instructor is a great way to maximize these benefits.
This class is appropriate for beginner and intermediate yogis. Classes will be based on participants' interests and needs, and styles will be hatha, vinyasa, restorative and yin, etc. All props provided, although participants may want to bring their own mat (mats are provided as well!).

Students will learn and understand the three main components of Kyokushin, which is a stand-up, full-contact karate: basics (kihon), forms (kata), and sparring (kumite). Physical fitness is a large component of the class, and students will engage in exercises designed to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility. All levels are welcome. Youth Karate is for ages 10 and up.
No class on 3/26 (Spring Break).
