Tai Chi is an internal martial art and health exercise which focuses on breathing, physical movement and relaxation. Posture, flexibility, balance, and mind-body coordination are improved as the student gains confidence in learning to apply Tai Chi concepts through breath work, warm-up exercises, Tai Chi forms, and loosening and cool down exercises. Often called‘poetry in motion,’the slow and gentle movements of Tai Chi are excellent for reducing tension and stress and for promoting general health in both body and mind. Tai Chi is non-competitive, self-paced and beginner-friendly. Comfortable clothing and shoes recommended.
