In this introductory course, students will explore the fundamentals of writing for the screen and learn how a strong script becomes the foundation of a successful film. Students will also be introduced to standard screenplay formatting and some tools used by working screenwriters. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, a storyteller curious about writing for film, or simply interested in how movies are made, this class provides a supportive environment to begin developing your ideas and turning them into compelling scripts.
