ABOUT CE COURSES
- Courses are short-term, non-credit classes that emphasize participation and community through discussion, hands-on activities, and creative problem-solving.
- Courses meet on campus, online, and in the community, during the day or evening, on weekdays and weekends. To determine where and when a course might be held, we look at instructor availability, campus schedules, course objectives and activities, and community needs and interests.
- Courses may meet just once, every week, or anything in between. One-off classes are an easy commitment for students, but multi-week series are wonderful as well because they give students an opportunity to learn, practice, and grow their skills from week-to-week.
Take a look at our catalog for examples of our current courses.
GET STARTED TEACHING
The best way to get started as a CE instructor is to propose a course! We want to learn more about you and your ideas. Our course proposal form is intended to help you think about the goals and structure of a CE class—and to give us the info we need to support you and your students. To help you plan before you complete a course proposal, preview the questions.

COURSE PLANNING SUPPORT
