Everyone has personal and family stories which are usually shared verbally but tend to disappear with time. This class will present approaches to recording these stories and preserving them for either personal purposes or to share with future generations. Concepts covered will include a basic introduction to history and its creation, issues of privacy and human relations, and suggestions for sharing formats. Taught by an experienced museum professional, this course invites you to turn family lore into history to be enjoyed in your lifetime and discovered by generations to come.
