The class is arranged in modules, and each module is centered around an online video and some practical exercises. During the course, you will demonstrate your ability to use the GIT (Hyundai-Kia) EDR Tool and the Tesla EDR tool by collecting data from two different (one with each EDR Tool) vehicles/modules and submitting the applicable files. Once the 30-day period has ended, you may no longer have access and be required to re-enroll. Additional fees may apply.
Note for international students: The GIT (Hyundai-Kia) EDR tool and software are only available for purchase in North America and can only be used to collect data from vehicles intended to be sold in North America (USA and Canada). The Tesla EDR tool and software are only available for purchase in North America and Europe and can only be used to collect data from vehicles intended to be sold in those countries. If you are in a country where you do not have access to the equipment, you are welcome to take the class and exams but will not be eligible for a certificate if you are unable to complete the required practical applications.
