They provide person-centered support across residential, community, and day program settings by assisting with daily living activities, promoting skill development, ensuring health and safety, and advocating for individual rights and well-being. This course will prepare you for this rewarding career through a combination of foundational direct support knowledge and essential workplace skills, including communication, documentation, and job readiness.

This free, all-inclusive program will provide you with all the tools you need to become a New York State security guard. You’ll complete the Eight-Hour Pre-Assignment Training, the 16-Hour On-the-Job Training, and your NYS application and fingerprinting, Participants must be age 18+ for licensing and have a valid Social Security number at the time of training. For most employers, a driver's license and HSE is required.

- Pharmacy Technician (Fast Track)

This class is open to the public and is zero cost due to students eligible for Fast Track funding. Class value is $1000.
Students are only eligible to enroll in one healthcare based training under the Fast Track program. If you have already taken a healthcare class through Fast Track then you are not eligible for additional funding through the program. Before registering contact us for alternate funding options.
Students must be at least 17 years old to enroll in the training and sit for the certification exam.
To receive the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification, students must:
- pass the 48-hour classroom training
- pass the PTCB national certification exam
- be at least 18 years old (students take the certification exam at 17 but not get officially certified until reaching 18)
- provide proof of a high school diploma or its equivalent
Upon successful course completion students receive a voucher code for the PTCB national certification exam. Successful passing of the application process/background check is required to sit for the exam.
This comprehensive 48-hour course will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam. Technicians work in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies, and other health care settings – working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Course content includes medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Students will learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control, and billing and reimbursement. Students must be at least seventeen years of age to enroll in the training and eighteen with a high school diploma or equivalency to be certified.

Students are only eligible to register for one Fast Track section.
Get New York State-certified with this accelerated 120-hour course that combines 90 hours of classroom and lab with 30 supervised clinical training hours. Upon successful completion of the course, you will take the NYS certification exam on-site. Medical requirements before clinical clearance include proof of a physical and TB test results within 12 months of clinical start date, and positive titers or proof of two Mumps Measles and Rubella (MMR) vaccinations.
All students must pass two reading comprehension exams with a score of 90% in order to be eligible for the training.
100% classroom, lab and clinical attendance is required to be eligible to sit for the certification exam.
CNA is valued at $1500.
