For both beginning and advanced artists who want to learn new ideas and skills. Explore the nuances of light, color, mixing, and more as you appreciate the strengths and limitations of this art form. Please come to the first class with all the supplies to get started.
Supply List:
Paper: 11”x15” cold pressed watercolor paper or individual sheets that can be cut down. 140 weight
Watercolor block or Paint board (slightly larger than paper, for 11x15 paper, 12x16 is perfect – I like ½” gator board – available at Artists Corner in Orem – ask for it & they will cut it to size)

Paint (tubes are best):
Cadmium Yellow Light
Medium Yellow, Aureolin is good
Alizarin Crimson
Cadmium Red light
Sap Green
Ultramarine Blue
Cerulean Blue
Violet
Burnt Umber
Payne’s Gray
Brushes:
Round watercolor burshes (medium size 4 or 6 and large sizes 8, and 12)
Flat watercolor brush in size 4, 6, or 8
Loew-Cornell, Prinston, Windsor & Newton, Grumbacher are all good brands to work with. Make sure you get short handled brushes... approximately 6-8 inches.
Liquid masking fluid
