Enjoy this hands-on exercise in how effective critique groups help you move your writing to the next level. Topics will range from character driven big picture story ideas to honing your prose so that every word and sentence serves your story. Critiques will be offered in an affirming, empowering atmosphere, with the goal for you to be able to establish new critique relationships and strategies that you take beyond this class. Each student will be required to submit a 5-to-10-page writing sample so that they may be grouped appropriately for critiques.
