    • When most people think of F. S. Fitzgerald, they think of The Great Gatsby, but throughout his career he made most of his income publishing short stories. We'll read one of his major stories for each class; our text will be Babylon Revisited and Other Stories. We'll discuss the themes and the interesting connections between the stories and his life, we'll watch video clips of his biography, and we'll admire his ability to capture the social history of America in the 20's and 30's. Students will be required to purchase, or borrow from a library, Babylon Revisted and Other Stories by Fitzgerald for this course.
