Lifelong Learning at Wofford welcomes ideas for new courses, workshops, events and lectures. The only credential you need to teach for us is to have a passion to share a hobby, an art, or other interest with others. Whether you decide to teach a one-day workshop, a 4-week or an 8-week session, as an instructor you decide what teaching style suits you best and we will work with you to bring your class to fruition. If you've never taught, some of our great past instructors will share their best practices to help your class succeed. Our students and instructors enjoy learning without the pressure of exams and grades! While we can't pay our instructors their true value, we offer an honorarium of $20 per classroom hour of teaching to thank you for sharing your talent with our students and the program.

HOW TO PROPOSE A ONE-TIME SPECIAL EVENT (EPF)
Lifelong Learning at Wofford offers a variety of events throughout our terms. If you have a special skill, interest or idea but are not ready to pull together a full-term curriculum we invite you to offer a one-time event.
One-time (or limited series) events are generally held on Fridays during an active term. If those times do not work, please note in the Proposal Form if you request a time outside the times offered and we will try to accommodate your request. We try to keep our special events from running against our regular class schedule so students won't miss a regular class to attend an event.

HOW TO PROPOSE A TRIP or TOUR (TPF)
Lifelong learners love to travel. They are especially thirsty for trips and tours of local historical and cultural sites and exploring small towns that surround and are included in the county.
