    East Coast Swing, a lively and modern derivative of classic swing dance, is popular at local dance spots. In our sessions, we'll start with a single-time swing that's danced to quicker music. We'll transition into triple-time swing and add some lindy styling for a combination of dance steps and patterns that will keep you on the dance floor all night. Each term a different set of patterns will be taught. Singles and couples are welcome.

    Have you ever watched a movie or TV show with couples dancing together and thought, "That looks fun"?  Well, you're right, it is fun!  This Introduction to Ballroom will focus on 2 of the most popular smooth dances, Waltz and Foxtrot.  You and your partner will learn the basics of each and beyond.  As your confidence and ability grow, more dance figures will be introduced. We supply the instructions, you supply the energy and willingness to learn.     Salsa is a Latin-Caribbean dance form developed from a blend of Afro-Cuban and Caribbean rhythmic, musical, and dance traditions. In our sessions, students of all levels of dance will learn contemporary salsa derived from the traditional Latin-Caribbean merengue, calypso, cha cha, and rumba. You will also learn to recognize different Latin musical patterns related to various choreographic styles. Please note: this class is designed for couples only. The price is per person.

Please bring 5 lb or 10 lb weights, if looking for something more challenging. Please bring your yoga mat, if possible. Senior discount does not apply.

    One of the original ancient Chinese martial arts, tai chi is practiced today as a form of exercise. Tai chi movements are slow and even, and their continuous flowing poses will build your strength, endurance, coordination, and confidence. Exercise, mind-body development, and the practice of a traditional art form will leave you relaxed and centered. Classes will be taught in the yang style.
