Make a round reed basket to hold your baked goods or any house hold objects. Students will learn how to lay out a wagon wheel base, weave the sides with dyed reed accents, and add a rim. Emphasis will be on shaping the basket. Baskets will vary in size, but should end up around 8” in diameter and 5” tall.
Please bring an apron or old towel, plus a pair of small pruners or sharp scissors and a short flat head screwdriver, if you have them, to class.
Materials fee: $25. Materials will be provided in a choice of colors, payable at the beginning of class. Fee can be paid in cash. Venmo or Zelle is also accepted.
