“Where Art Takes Over the Town”
OLLI members are invited to experience the vibrant energy of the 2026 ArtFields Festival in Lake City, SC—a beloved Southern celebration that transforms an entire town into a walkable art gallery. Founded in 2013 to honor artists living and working in the Southeast, ArtFields showcases hundreds of works displayed in local businesses, public spaces, and community venues. This immersive festival celebrates creativity, culture, and connection, offering visitors a unique chance to experience art woven throughout a charming small-town setting. ArtFields is living proof of the power of art to inspire and bring people together. OLLI travelers will enjoy a day surrounded by art, color, and culture while exploring exhibits and installations throughout Lake City. A minibus provided by Coastal Carolina University will depart from the Coastal Science Center. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Lunch is on your own, with food trucks and local restaurants available.
