We’ll cover these main ideas and incorporate your questions and quandaries as we go. You’ll shine in this class if you have a fairly steady strum and can move among Am, C, D, F, G, G7 chords with relative ease. This is a great follow-up class to the Ukulele for Everybody! course.

I’ll provide a PDF containing a chord chart and some familiar songs, and other goodies to start with. I have taught many students via live Zoom classes and it has proven to be an effective tool for teaching ukulele to geographically scattered students. This six-week genealogy computer-based Zoom course will focus on utilizing historic newspapers to take your genealogical research beyond just the basic information about your ancestors. While finding census records, vital records, military records, and land records will give you the “bare bones” of your genealogical research, newspapers will bring your ancestors to life. This course will assist you in finding news accounts of your ancestors’ exploits.

Students are advised to complete a 5 or 6 generation chart to the best of their ability to enable them use their own family to access different newspaper websites.

You don't have to have any background in music, or even know how to read music. All you need is a song in your heart and an adventurous spirit to learn how to play the ukulele. This lighthearted class will demystify music-making and inspire you through developing the technique and skills that you'll need to start or continue your musical journey. This is a good refresher for those who could use a brush-up on the basics to tighten up your playing.
