Kruckeberg Botanical Garden - Herbal Salves and Balms

Herbal Salves and Balms: Crafting with herbs is an age-old way of connecting to our past. Many commonly grown herbs carry powerful healing properties, that we can tap into if we know how to harness them. This class will highlight the easiest, yet some of the most rewarding, plants to employ for this purpose. Participants will leave with the tools to create their own herbal remedies, and the knowledge of how to incorporate them into their daily lives. Open to anyone 14+, but will accept middle school students with a parent.
