While HSK Standard Course 1 introduces fundamental Mandarin skills, HSK Standard Course 2 builds upon them and advances beyond basics, focusing on deeper language comprehension and usage. Textbook and workbook will be provided electronically by the teacher. Suitable for students aged 12+ and adults.

Shoreline College is excited to be working with Yingqi Zheng through a partnership with our International Education department and the Confucius Institute in WA. Yingqi is an associate professor at the School of Overseas Education, Sichuan University, specializing in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Sichuan University. With over 13 years of experience, she teaches comprehensive Chinese courses at all levels, as well as phonetics and reading skills. She has also led cultural workshops at Pacific Lutheran University and university in South Korea, promoting traditional Chinese culture.
