Terror on the Screen: The History of Horror Films

The history of horror films extends from the earliest examples of the medium and has lasted up to the modern era as one of the most pervasive, popular, and financially successful genres. Join facilitator Isabella Price and study the elements of horror, what makes audiences love it, and how it works. Students will explore films ranging from classics like Nosferatu and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari to recent releases such as Get Out, Midsommar, and more. Some film rental fees may apply.
