Dandylyon Theater Production - Youth Musical Theater Performers Ages 8-11   

Youth Musical Theatre Performers- Opening Act for Kids Ages 8-11

"Opening Act" performers rehearse and perform a musical theatre song in costume on stage. Learn healthy vocal technique, classic dance moves, and gain confidence in a supportive and age appropriate experience. This quarter, the selection is "Santa by the Book" which is a charming song from the musical "Yes, Virginia!" and is a celebration of world culture and the magic of reading books. Students will learn about Chinese, Armenian, French, Danish, Hawaiian, Swedish, and Ukrainian traditions and be invited to share about their own cultural winter holidays. Students will perform twice as the opening act of "Scrooge's Christmas" shows the weekend of December 15-17 at the Shoreline Community College Theater.
