LEARN TO WEAVE ON A TABLE TOP LOOM - In just one class you'll weave a couple of cotton washcloths on a tabletop, rigid heddle loom. It covers all the weaving basics: loom set-up, color changes and finishing. Once you learn to weave, the possibilities are endless including scarves, pillow covers, towels, curtains and cloth for sewing. Weaving supplies and handouts are included. Or bring your own assembled working rigid heddle loom with a 7.5 or 8 dent heddle. Some walking is required.For students 15+ and adults of all ages. Some walking around a table required. Please note that no scented products or perfumes should be worn during this class.
STUDENT REQUIRED SUPPLIES
Students required to bring a scissor (to cut yarn), a pen and these specific yarns:
- 3 balls (100 yards each) of cotton yarn Lily’s Sugar ‘N Cream at either Joann’s or Michael’s
- Select colors that work well for stripes and plaids and no more than one variegated color
