Cascade Music is excited to offer small-group piano lessons at Shoreline CC. Your child will learn and grow with one of the area’s most sought-after instructors, Dr. Jensina Oliver. Sessions cover rhythm, movement, notation, singing, and early keyboard/piano training. Acoustic piano or digital keyboard with weighted keys required for practice at home. Lessons take place in the keyboard lab at SCC. Tuition includes lessons and piano books and assignment binder. Max 6 students per class. Recital on the last day of class!

Cascade Music - Youth Individual Instruction Piano:

High quality piano instruction for elementary through advanced youth pianists age 6-15 years, Class is for 5 - 1 hour sessions or you can request 30 or 45 minute sessions as long as the total hours equals 5 hours and the instructor approves. 

The Youth Individual Instruction Piano Lessons course includes ten 30-min lessons during the academic quarter. Instructors accommodate all levels of ability, from beginners to advanced musicians. Parents purchase materials suggested by the instructor. Tuition covers the lessons, a performance class and an optional quarterly recital. 

Please contact Nicholas Tagab for more information at ntagab@shoreline.edu to schedule a lesson time.  After establishing the schedule. Youth Individual Instruction Piano Lessons are held in the NEW Bracken #8000 Music Building. A caregiver must be present in the building during the lesson - either in the piano studio or in the adjacent lobby. Parking is free on campus after 4pm. 

Chorale Mixed voice ensemble that is open to the community and to Shoreline College students seeking credit. Styles include classical, jazz, pop, folk, and world music. A short placement check will be performed in the first week of class to determine section placement. For students 16+ and adults of all ages! This class is 2x week for the academic quarter. Parking is not included in the price of the class and can be purchased from the kiosks in campus. Quarterly passes are also available through the cashiers. Parking & Permits | Shoreline Community College. The Shoreline Concert Band is always seeking new members! Comprised of Shoreline Community College students and community members! The band performs quarterly concerts that include traditional music, contemporary band works, orchestral transcriptions, solo features, Broadway musicals, and marches. No audition is required, but members do need to have previous experience. Band rehearsals will meet in the #800 Music Building weekly during the academic quarter.  Performance scheduled at the end of the quarter! Open to students 16+
