    The course offers participants instruction and feedback on writing short fiction and poems. A one-act play and perhaps an essay are also possibilities. A goal is for as many participants as possible to produce publishable material. Lifelong Learning at Wofford will sponsor the publishing. The editors, Bill Pell and Linda Powers, will decide on the material to publish. The course is a unique creative writing and publishing opportunity in an increasingly difficult world to find publishing outlets even for quality material.

    Everyone dreams. When we remember them they can seem very mysterious, even ominous, but they always fascinate. We will explore theories of dreams, examine our own dream experiences, and learn ways to work with our dreams to discover what they are saying to us.

    MahJongg is a fun, social game to play. Come learn the basics of the American version of this ancient game of the Mandarins. We will begin with a lecture and quickly advance to playing this fascinating game utilizing 152 tiles.
    Students will be responsible for purchasing a 2024 MahJongg Card ($15). Directions on where and how will be included in your receipt notes.
