    The Spartanburg County Public Libraries will provide all materials used to demonstrate preservation techniques. Students are required to bring materials from their personal collections including images, clippings, letters, etc. Students will receive guidance on when these materials are used during a session. SCPL will provide sample material if a student does not have access to personal items. SCPL will take responsibility for all aspects of this course including the cost for class materials. Wofford will handle all registration. Each course is held at the Downtown Library. Students will participate in a walking tour which includes approximately 5-7 city blocks.There will be field trips taken during the term.  During COVID and as directed by the CDC and SCDHEC - all participants MUST wear a mask and be able to maintain a physical distance of 6 feet.

    Enjoy guided help in learning to use the iPad effectively. Topics include iPad and app updates, the basics of apps such as Pages and Notes, organization, multi-touch functions, web browsing using multiple and split screen tabs and more. The last class will be an open class during which students may ask questions about material not covered in class. All students must have an iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPad mini with iPad OS 14 and updates installed. This is a 6-week course.
