Exercise and Fitness   

You must be signed in and a current annual member in order to have access to register for any of our courses or clubs. Many of our social and special events are open for non-members, but all courses have member-only access. Scholarships for class fees are available for students once they join as an annual member.   • EZ Does It Chair Yoga Part 2

    • This 6-week class is open to those who have previously practiced yoga or participated in a series of chair yoga classes. Relax your body and improve your physical and mental health with easy chair yoga stretches & basic standing poses.  Connecting movement with the breath will improve your posture, strength, flexibility, balance, and range of motion. Students should wear comfortable clothing that will allow movement without restrictions. Athletic shoes or walking shoes are suggested.

    • This six-week class is an introduction to chair yoga and is open to all ages and levels. Relax your body and improve your physical and mental health with easy yoga stretches.     • Qigong for Health is an interactive class that will teach you the foundational principles of qigong. You'll learn about the history and benefits of qigong, and have the opportunity to practice and participate in learning qigong moves and breathing techniques. Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that has been used for centuries to promote health and vitality. Qigong for Health is a great way to learn about this beneficial practice and to improve your overall health. This class requires full-body movement, and loose-fitting clothing is recommended.

    • SPLASH is a 60-minute, twice-a-week water exercise class that includes a total body workout. We start with aqua aerobics, progress into strength training with weights and finish with core strengthening exercises. Music is playing and we share a lot of laughs along the way. We know how to have a good time while getting our heart rates up and getting in a great workout. Our pool is heated to 93 degrees and is salt water-based to help alleviate joint pain. Join us for some aqua fun!

      This class will teach you to close your eyes and block out the world. Come join Marjorie on a journey within. Students will need to bring their own Yoga mat to class each week and must be able to get down and up from the floor unassisted.
