All ACT 2 fitness classes require a completed ACT 2 Program Fitness Class Clearance Form be on file with the ACT 2 office. Forms are required once each academic year. Form Update: Physician Clearance forms are no longer required for a 'yes' response on the Fitness form as of 11/17/23.

Definitions

Physical activity = activity that increases energy expenditure such as walking or household chores.

Exercise = physical activity with the intention of developing fitness, agility, and endurance.

Guide to Fitness Levels

1 - Starting Out: For those who engage in limited physical activity 3 times per week or less.

2 - Getting Going: For those who engage in physical activity at least 3 times per week.

3 - Staying Active: For those who exercise at least 2-3 times per week.

4 - Athlete: For those who exercise almost every day.
