This class is a continuation of the Basics of Playing the Button Accordion, Level 1. In this session, students will advance to following basic music sheets with scales already learned and will be able to play easy songs while accompanied by a Bajo Sexto, played by the instructor.

Celebrate the holidays with a vibrant burst of San Antonio culture! Students will paint bright Holiday ornaments embellished with "papel picado" patterns. This workshop focuses on the use of colors to create a joyful, festive composition that honors local traditions.

Bring your holiday décor to life in this hands-on, 3-part garland-making experience! In this creative workshop series, you’ll start with a lush evergreen garland base and transform it into a full, layered statement piece perfect for mantels, staircases, doorways, or tablescapes. Each session is designed to guide you step-by-step as you build depth, texture, and personality into your garland using a variety of techniques and decorative elements. You will learn tips for adding greenery, florals, ribbons and bows. You will also learn how to add lights as an option to your garland. No experience needed. This class is a 3-session class so that you will take home your own seasonal garland perfect as a start to transform your home for the holidays.

The instructor will guide you through blending vibrant, glowing hues and applying resist techniques to paint an iconic San Antonio scene. At the end of the workshop, you will have 1-2 festive cards that you can share with family and friends. Lots of reference photos, templates, and embellishments will be available to spark your creativity.

Capture a sense of holiday nostalgia with a classic winter scene. We will paint a weathered vintage red truck hauling a freshly cut tree through a winter landscape. This class focuses on nostalgic storytelling through art.

This course introduces students to Persian (Farsi) language grammar and conversational communication. Students develop skills in sentence structure, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and everyday conversation while gaining familiarity with Persian-speaking cultures and traditions. Emphasis is placed on both grammatical accuracy and practical language use.
