In this inspiring, hands-on workshop, a veteran filmmaker and producer (25+ years of experience) will teach you professional interviewing techniques, storytelling, filming, and tools to create and archive legacy video honoring yourself, loved ones, or beloved community members. Continue your drawing adventures in this class. We will cover pencil techniques and add in additional drawing resources like ink, charcoal, and graphite washes. All levels of experience are welcome. Have you heard about Zentangle? This mesmerizing drawing trend uses ink pens and patterns to create “zen”ful “tangle”d drawings, or little abstract drawings. You can leave the creation in simple black and white or add any color media you want. At each session, we’ll try out different patterns and learn to make our own, as well as you environmental clues to inspire original drawings. Materials needed: drawing paper/pad with smooth texture, 60 lb. rating or higher, #2 pencil, clear ruler, black ink pen(s) of your choice, white eraser, paper folder/binder for handouts.
