We welcome older adults who have the desire to learn, engage, build new friendships, and take an active part in the world around them.
Lifelong Learning offers two levels of participation: annual memberships and friends.
Annual memberships are $60 and give students full access to register and participate in any classes, events, clubs and committees offered between Aug. 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. Most offerings are held in the Education Building at Central United Methodist Church, located at 233 N. Church St. in Spartanburg. You can begin joining for the year on July 31 but note registration for classes and events does not open until August 11 at 9 a.m.
Friends may sign up for all our classes and events throughout the year. Registration for friends begins two days after we open registration for our annual members, and class fees are $10 more per class. Friends do not receive the benefits of being a member as listed on our website, which include access to clubs, member-only special events, scholarships and our weekly e-blast. We encourage you to join as an annual member and become fully engaged with our LLL community.
