We welcome older adults who have the desire to learn, engage, build new friendships, and take an active part in the world around them.
Lifelong Learning (LLL) offers two levels of participation: annual memberships and friends.
Annual memberships are $60 and give students full access to register and participate in any classes, events, clubs and activities offered between Aug. 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027. Most offerings are held in the Education Building at Central United Methodist Church (CUMC), located at 233 N. Church St. in Spartanburg. Member benefits include early registration, $10 discount for every class taken during the school year, access to clubs and committees, scholarships and our weekly e-blast.
Friends can sign up for all our classes and events throughout the year. Registration for friends begins two days after we open registration for annual members. If you are new to Lifelong Learning, this is a great way to try out a class or two (or more) before joining as an annual member.
